The word 'Apostille' is a French word which means 'certification'. It is commonly used in English to refer to the legalisation of an official document.

Under the 1961 Hague Convention, documents which have been first certified by a solicitor and then certified with a conformant apostille are accepted for legal and international use in all the nations that have signed the Hague Convention.

The certification of the documents would therefore be recognised on an International scale giving creditation to the documents presented.

Any document from Companies House or our systems, for example:

- Certificate of Incorporation
- Memorandum & Articles of Association
- List of Directors/Shareholders
- Share certificate

There is no limit on the amount of documents that can be certified/ apostilled at any one time.

Please Note: We do use binders when sending off the documents to be apostilled, this means we have to use our discretion when accepting any additional documents you may request to be added. Please contact our Operations team via email ([email protected]) with any enquiries in relation to this service.
